Hello and Welcome to the new homepage for the Uruguayan Folk Ballet, I Luis Chiriff junior, am honoured to have you here and I would like to welcome you to the passionate world of the Uruguayan Folk Ballet. I have dedicated this homepage to the memory of the late Luaro Ayestaran for his extraordinary work and dedication to rescue from the past the brilliance of the music and dances of the uruguayan culture and to Flor de Maria Rodriguez de Ayestaran , because with out her talented work we wouldn't be able to recover the choreography of more than 20 dances , and her son Alejandro Ayestaran. Special thanks to Hugo Suberbie and his 'Ballet Tacuaras' of Uruguay , Anahir Alvarez and Julio Fontanabuona for their support and teaching. And Finally to my partner and wife of 34 years without her support it would of been impossible, for been always there to encourage and help me. Luis Chiriff.
